Bio
I have just successfully completed my PhD at the University of Manchester. I was awarded a PhD Studentship and BELMAS (British Educational Leadership, Management and Administration Society) Research Bursary. I am interested in educational leadership. My research is to map the role of secondary school principals as it is changing in China and to see how far the changes are resulting in the application of Western ideas and approaches to leadership within Chinese schools, and what benefits and/or problems such approaches bring.Also interested in the factors of culture and politics influence the type of leadership. Not endeavour to seek for best practice of effective leadership but the coincidence among relationships of culture, politics and effective leadership taking account into the changing context. Would be nice to share ideas and meet international academics here.
