Passionate about Yoga, an avid reader, animal lover, a seeker.
I believe in Yoga as an intellectual and scientific form of body-mind discipline and love to discover life through its philosophy and principles. After over a decade’s experience across leading financial services organizations I took a sabbatical in 2016 to invest my time in learning the ancient teachings of Yoga. I practiced various styles across different schools before settling for Mysore where I spent over 700 hours under the guidance of Yogacharya Bharath Shetty to deepen my practice of Hatha Yoga. My approach is traditional with strong focus on the breath and well complemented by the teachings of Yoga Sutras; I consider Yoga as a way to truly bring transformation and to take us closer to discovering our true purpose. I am an avid traveler and reader, certified in plant based nutrition from Cornell, and have dabbled with pranic healing and learning the harmonium!
I’ve taken to writing so I may chronicle this journey as much for putting structure to the thoughts in my mind as it is to create a repository for the limitations of my own memory.
