Bio
Hi, I'm Meagan, I want to share a little bit about myself, and my family. We have four beautiful children, and we are an ordinary American family. Like everyone we have the American dream. Family, faith, work, house, and every now and then a great vacation. My husband is a truck driver, and I work part time for an airline, while going to school. We barley make ends meet.
I have worked hard my whole life, from babysitting at the age of 10 and delivering papers at 12. Working hard for what you want is something, I think builds a person, it give what you work for value. This virtue is something we hope to pass onto our children.
But we are finding that working hard is no longer getting you what you work for! Which is what this blog is about. How ordinary American families are getting the short end of the stick, and I am fed up.
I also love to plan things out, so budgeting, time management, food prepping, freezer meals, and canning are some of my favorite things to do. But I can be more fun as well, I always have a DIY project I am working on, (thanks HGTV). I have had many passions for in my life and accomplished so much. From being in the military, a corrections officer, an energy worker, herbalist, and work for an airline. Working hard, planning and follow through, is the example I want to set for my children. Just shoot for the stars.
