Bio
Zoe is returning to writing after enjoying motherhood and making the big move from city to country over the past couple of years. She captivated audiences with raw and honest performances and songs of substance, and returned to writing this year when approached to sing of her experiences of the bushfires that impacted her town and region last year. Her style harks back to the hand crafted lyrics and intricate discordant harmonies of the 70s. She has been likened to Joni Mitchell and Laura Nyro and has graced the stage with the likes of soul legend Renee Geyer, Ireland’s Declan O’Rourke, Jordie Lane, Sydney’s Patrick James and toured with Matt Corby at his Secret Garden shows.
Zoe Elliot played at ‘The Smallest Gig’, ‘Sofar Sounds’, The Newsagency, the Manly Fig and countless festivals such as Peats Ridge and the Manly Jazz. She has released two EPs, “Precipitate” and “Black Dog” which are available on streaming services.
