Bio
I am a growing lover of learning. An authentic listener. A genuine student. An ecstatic world traveler. I come from the mountains of Colorado and the farmlands of rural Illinois. I love tomatoes fresh from the garden, anything with dark chocolate, sunshine, most any dancing, my piano, adventure, popcorn, exploration, travel, markets, lists and, above all, learning! I am a Neuroscience Major with minors in Psychology and Music at Regis University in Denver Colorado. I have aspirations of becoming a psychologist, researching love and traveling the world.
Currently, I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. With the International Studies Abroad program I am studying at the University of Belgrano and loving every second. I chose Argentina for my studying abroad experience for many reasons, including: Argentinians speak Spanish, thus I can practice 24/7; Argentina is in South America, a continent I had yet to visit; Argentina has a unique culture; and Buenos Aires is the birthplace of Tango! While I’m here I hope to take advantage of all these amazing aspects of Argentina; I’ll be writing about the culture immersion, tango classes, Spanish and lots of travel!
