Blog slider shows same author names for all articles

  We have multiple authors on our website, and the right authors are displayed everywhere on our website except on the blog slider on our homepage. It used to work fine, but for a few months now, every time we post a new article, the name of the author of that new article now appears for all posts appearing in the blog slider. How can we fix this?
