Trouble with the WordPress update

    Hello,

    I’m working on a site for a client and it hasn’t been updated in a while. Since the new version of WordPress was installed, I constantly receive the message ‘There has been a critical error on this website.’. I tried updating Elementor, but then I also received this message. I cannot get out of the recovery mode without receiving this message again. What can I do to undo this? Can I do a recovery backup to before the WordPress auto-update?
