One app instead of a scattered stack

WordPress Workspace replaces a handful of paid utilities with tools built around the WordPress.com plan you already pay for.

With your WordPress.com plan, you get:

An agent that already knows your site

Ask the WordPress Agent from anywhere on your Mac, without switching to a browser. It starts from the site you already maintain.

Quick ask from any app

Trigger the WordPress Agent with a keyboard shortcut for fast answers, from any app on your Mac.

Dictate in your site's voice

Speak when it is faster than typing, and let your site’s guidelines shape the result.

Capture and share screenshots

Capture what you are looking at, bring it into the WordPress Agent, or upload it to your site.

Upload images to your media library

Move images straight into your WordPress media library, and keep working with them in the WordPress Agent.

There is more to your site than just a site.

WordPress Workspace helps with the business and project work that surrounds your WordPress site, not just the act of editing WordPress itself.

It is the first piece of a broader idea: your WordPress.com plan should help you run the business around your site, not just host it.

Write from what already exists

Ask the Agent to research your existing pages and posts before drafting a new article, landing page, announcement, or product update.

Improve a page

Get help with copy, structure, calls to action, and redesign ideas using the page and site context you already have.

Dictate in your site voice

Turn rough speech into cleaner text shaped by your WordPress.com guidelines.

Work with screenshots

Send a screenshot into the Agent when words are slower than showing what you mean.

Move images into the right place

Upload images to the media library and keep working with them in the same WordPress-aware flow.

Transform text anywhere

Select text in another Mac app and reshape it with your WordPress context in mind.

Your context already lives in WordPress

If you blog, publish, sell, document, announce, or run a business on WordPress, your site has been accumulating useful context all along: your voice, audience, archive, offers, media, guidelines, and the shape of your work.

Workspace turns that context into an advantage, so the WordPress Agent can start from what already exists instead of asking you to explain everything from scratch.

Agent-empowered

Stop copy-pasting context

Skip the setup. The WordPress Agent starts from the site you already maintain, not an empty chat.

Get better first drafts

New copy starts closer to your voice, audience, offers, and existing content.

Move from ideas to updates

Turn prompts, screenshots, and dictated notes into WordPress-ready work.

FAQ

Is WordPress Workspace included in my plan?

Yes. Workspace is included with every WordPress.com plan during the beta. Sign in with the WordPress.com account you already use, and download the Mac app.

Is this a beta?

Yes. WordPress Workspace is in beta. Expect frequent updates, and tell us what you would like next.

How is this different from generic AI chat?

Generic AI chat usually starts from zero. WordPress Workspace starts from your selected WordPress.com site: its content, media, guidelines, skills, abilities, and permissions. You do not need to rebuild your business context every time you ask for help.

Is this only for editing WordPress?

No. WordPress is the context layer, not just the thing being edited. Workspace is for the business and project work around your site: writing, research, decisions, screenshots, uploads, dictation, rewrites, and publishing support.

Does it work with multiple sites?

Yes. Each WordPress.com site can be treated as its own workspace. Switch sites to switch context.

Can teams share Agent behavior?

Yes. Site skills and guidelines can be personal or shared with the team, depending on how they are configured. Workspace should follow WordPress.com accounts and the site permission model.

How is this different from WordPress Studio?

WordPress Studio is for building and developing WordPress sites locally. WordPress Workspace is for daily work through the live WordPress.com context your business already uses.

What does WordPress Agent know?

The Agent works from the selected WordPress.com site and the capabilities available to it: site content, media, guidelines, skills, abilities, and the permissions attached to your account. It should not be described as knowing everything about a business unless that knowledge exists in the selected WordPress context.

Does it work with my WordPress.com account?

Yes. WordPress Workspace uses your WordPress.com sign-in, selected sites, and existing site access. You do not need to create a separate workspace account or rebuild your business context in another tool.

Can teams share Agent skills and guidelines?

Yes. Skills and guidelines can live with the site, so they can be personal to you or shared with the people who work on that WordPress site, depending on how they are configured.

Does Workspace use WordPress permissions?

Workspace is designed around the WordPress.com account and site permission model, so access to site context and shared Agent behavior follows the WordPress access your team already manages.
