  when I am using paypal as a method of payment why is it that I am redirected to credit card?

  Hi @earthreturnee08,

  When using PayPal as method of payment for recurring charges (charges that usually happen on a routine basis), PayPal usually needs fund backup (in this case, credit card). PayPal doesn’t allow recurring payments unless you have credit cards or bank accounts linked to it, and they need to have enough funds as well.
