    We’re expanding the WordAds family with Jetpack 4.5, which enables many more site owners to earn income by running high-quality ads. The program is now called Automattic Ads and is accompanied by the new Automattic Ads Terms of Service.

    Please give it a read (you can take a look at the revision history to see exactly what has changed!) and contact us if you have any questions. While most of what we’ve added is pretty standard, it is a big update, so here are a few changes in particular that you may want to be aware of:

    Section 5: We identify specific types of content that aren’t permitted on sites that run ads.
    Section 9: We will notify you about material changes to our terms before they take effect.
    Section 16: We both agree to resolve any disputes through arbitration, which is a more streamlined procedure than a lawsuit, with the goal of deciding disputes more quickly.
    Section 17: Class action lawsuits are prohibited. We’re big on addressing issues immediately and on an individual basis.
    These changes will take effect on February 18, 2017. By participating in WordAds after this date, you agree to the new Automattic Ads Terms of Service.
