import xml file got stuck

    I’m trying to upload an xml file containing the backup of my website. I’m using ‘tools –> import’ but it’s been stuck since two days. Don’t know how to stop it or cancel it. I refreshed the pages many times, cleared the cache, and deactivated all the plugins (i’ve read that they might interfeer) but nothing happened.
    Also, my internet connection is really slow, so nerve-wracking. can it just be it?

    In any case, i need help!
