Personal plan refund

Hi. I just purchased a domain and a ‘personal plan’ but realized once I got into the control panel that it is not what I was looking for due to the inability to install plugins unless I upgrade the plan, which is way too expensive.
I purchased both the plan and the domain for two years and now I would like a full refund: upon cancellation, the system offers me ‘Remove Plan’ without giving me any information about the refund. I hope that this will happen in full.
As for the domain I will ask for a transfer to another provider as soon as the necessary 60 days have passed – since I would like to keep that domain name. (As I understand it is not convenient to cancel the domain to register it again but it is convenient to transfer it, correct?)
Regarding the latter aspect: will it be possible to have a refund of the year I will not use? Obviously I will be forced to pay with the new provider for the domain and would like to avoid the double expense.Thank you in advance
