To Delete the Account

  How do I delete my account?
  I’ve followed the procedure, writing the username and waiting for the button ‘delete account’ to be available, but it doesn’t work.

  Thanks in advance for helping me

  Thanks for reaching us out! You can permanently close your WordPress.com account from the bottom of your Account Settings screen:

  https://wordpress.com/me/account

  And follow the steps in this support guide:

  Close Your Account

  Hi there!

  Thank you for the answer!
  I’m writing you again cause it stills does not work and I’ve followed the instruction, as I had the first time.

  I’d like to attach a screenshot of what I see on the screen while trying to delete the account but apparently I can’t. So I’ll try to explain it by words.

  I click on “close your account permanently” (from the bottom of account setting).
  Then on “close the account” (from the bottom of the page that opens from the previous step).
  Then I type my Account name to confirm I’d like to close the Account, but after that nothing happens and the only choice I have is to click on “undo”, cause the “close your Account” bottom is unclickable, it’s faded as if it was frozen, in fact clicking on it I get no results at all.

  I hope I’ve been understandable and and not rambling.
  I also hope you can help me.
  Either way thank you in advance for your time.
