Woocommerce PayPal API Credentials error

Hello, first of all I know this is not the right place but Woocommerce won’t let me use its support even after I’ve verified my mail and logged out multiple time both from here and from Woocommerce.com itself, so I hope you may help me.
The problem is the following: I’ve a Woocommerce store selling mainly subscription products. Most of them have been bought via Paypal. I’m now working on creating a new website where I would have then migrated the Woocommerce data in order to keep my active subscriptions.
Trying to configure the API Credentials for PayPal on my new website I faced the following error ‘There is a problem with PayPal. Your API credentials may be incorrect. Please update your API credentials.’
I’ve copy/pasted them multiple times just to be sure but nothing (same credentials in use on my current website which worked just fine). After some tests i tried removing the credentials from my old website and add them only to the new one but the problem persisted.
Now the very bad part: trying to ‘revert’ all of this and to set the API Credentials back on my ‘old’ website resulted in the same error. So I’m now stuck and this is causing my business great losses (it’s been almost 3 days).
I’ve already contacted PayPal Business support which assured me about the validity of the credentials aswell as the fact that those same credentials can be shared across multiple istances pointing me to the support of the plugin itself.
I hope I’ve been clear enough and I strongly hope you can help me (or at least fix my confirmation so that i can text Woocommerce’s support).
