Biografia
While serving as a researcher at University of Padova, he published essays on European Utopia and Aestetiks. Then he developed his interest on yoga, Buddhism and their iconography – extensively visiting India, Siam, China and Japan. Recently his notes have been edited in the illustrated book Estasi.com. He also published translations of poetry – from Gary Snyder, Allen Ginsberg, Jose’ Lezama Lima, Cintio Vitier and Fina Garçia Marruz – and his own (Il ballo immune, La gioia dell’impossibile, Padova un fiume di poesia) – as well as essays in international trans-cultural reviews. As a journalist he has covered poetry, music and performing events, often organized with his association “Shunyata”. His last writings (Pietre che danzano, Il ritmo all’origine della forma) have come with the Indian dance company “Kama-ka”, and more esoteric cross-cultural essays (Dante tantrico e vedico, Leonardo e il sorriso orientale) are published by “Rivista di Studi Indo-Mediterranei” (University of Bologna).
