Can I use sub-domain as the URL of my WP blog?

  I have a domain of my name. I would like to start my own blog using it like XXX.com/blog.
  Can I use sub-domain for my WP URL?

  You can definitely map your sub-domain to your WordPress.com site by following this support instruction: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-subdomain/

  However, XXX.com/blog is not a sub-domain actually. On WordPress.com, you are not able to point your site to a specific directory. But, you can do that if you use a self-hosted site with WordPress.org.
