Account splitten
-
When I began miy site, my father was the wwebmaster and arranged everytihng for me within 1 wordpres.com account. My website is modertjgroen.nl and his website stophondenbelasting.wordpress.com I would now like to split the account in wo sso that I can control my own site. Can we do this without any loss of data etc.?
One of the reasons for splitting is that our configurations aregetting confused. We both have our own linkedin twitter and FB accounts which we would like to use. Sometimes I loose the connecton to my own FB / Twitter and Linkedin and have difficulty in connecting to the accounts again.
All tps are welcome.

The site https://modertjgroen.nl is not hosted on WordPress.com and connected to your father’s WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin. If your father deactivates the Jetpack plugin on https://modertjgroen.nl, your site will no longer be connected to his WordPress.com account.

Hi there, thanks for your tip.
If I deactivate the Jetpack plugin will I also loose all the Jetpack functionality and data collected on my site moedertjegroen.nl?
Can I save the data somehow save the statistics / data and transfer it to my own wordpress.com account?

If you deactivate the Jetpack connection to the site moedertjegroen.nl from your fathers WordPress.com account and establish a Jetpack connection using your WordPress.com account, you’ll still see all statistics. The statistics are collected on a site level rather than on a user level.
