Add sidebar to homepage

  Hi!

  I’ve been trying to add the sidebar (that’s currently only visible on my About and Contact pages) to my homepage, but no such luck.
  I’m not really good at all the technical stuff, so instead of going with trial and error, I’d rather ask it here…

  Does anyone have an easy step-by-step list I can go through to add the sidebar to my homepage as well?
