After how much time is domain available again after cancelation

    Hi!
    I bought my domainname this monday on http://www.wordpress.com, and then I realised there is a difference between http://www.wordpress.com and wordpress.org, and thus I cancelled my subscription and deleted my domainname. I received a confirmation by e-mail. Today I wanted to buy my domainname again via a hosting website, but it says it’s not available. Does anyone know how much time it takes to process my cancellation of the domainname this monday..? Can’t wait to start build my website…

    The domain will be available for public registration five days after you’ve registered it initially. I see that you’ve registered the domain on September 30, thus, 5 days ago. The domain should become available today or tomorrow for public registration.
