Can we go from 'paid for' to 'free' ? Kan ik van betalend terug naar gratis ?

    Hello a question about http://www.toecomst.com

The blog / site has had its success in a governmental context which is why we paid for it, getting it online without commercials.

However right now we’re at a crossroads. One way could be to take it off the air. Another would be to change it into something else, deleting 20% and keeping 80% in a different context (reframing of that content). In that second option, commercials would not be as much of a problem.

Hence my question : if we would stop paying, would it be possible to keep the site ‘as is’ but without the advantages off paying (no commercials, your support, etc) ?

    Thanks for clarifying

    Pat

I am trying to get an answer on this question e.g. via Luca, Happiness Engineer cf. his e-mail of 17 oktober 2017 09:17:32 CEST.

Why has WordPress made it so hard to establish actual contact?

When I signed up for WordPress I was promised support. Why is there no reply coming?

Hello I have a further question: should we stop our “premium” subscription, e.g. because the promised services are not delivered, in what way will that effect Toecomst.com? Commercials may appear and the URL will become Toecomst.wordpress.com but will we loose the theme, will that affect the way users get to see the site? Thanks for putting someone on the case, I think that’s the kind of support we are payng for as premium clients. (I think it’s outrageous that clients paying for services have to wait for days and weeks before someone might deem himself worthy of replying on a forum. That is not what we signed up for buying Premium and it’s a violation of the user terms.)
