Canceled my domain name. Can I restore it to use it now?

    I started a wordpress.com account, registered a domain, and bought one of the plans. I realized a few hours later I wanted to use wordpress.org and canceled the plan and my reservation of the domain name jentevoorspoels.com.

    When Looking into forums I saw it can take up 5 days before the domain can get available again and I can buy it. My site needs to be finished within a few days and I don’t have time to wait this long. Is it possible to have my domain restored so I can start building the site with another web host?

    (I don’t have received my refund for the domain yet, it was canceled a few hours ago)
