Cannot change to a particular domain for incomprehensible reasons

    Dear sir/madam,

    The problem that I am facing is that I cannot change my current domain to: theprivy.wordpress.com while when I look for this address in my browser, it says: ”theprivy.wordpress.com is no longer available, The authors have deleted this site”

    To me this is a very clear indication that the domain should be available. When I try to create this domain, WordPress tells me: ”Sorry, this website is already in use” which is a stark contradiction to the statement that the website has been deleted by the authors.

    I of course hope that this could be resolved and I can use the domain.

    Dan nog even mijn verontschuldigingen dat dit bericht niet in het Nederlands geplaatst is. Ik kwam hier via een engelstalige pagina terecht. My apologies for not writing this message in Dutch language.
    Ik hoop dat mijn ‘probleempje’ zo in ieder geval duidelijk is geworden en ik zie uw reactie graag tegemoet! Bij voorbaat dank.

    The domain https://theprivy.wordpress.com/ was previously used and had been deleted by the initial site owner. Please note that, due to technical reasons, it’s not possible to reuse a domain name that previously existed.
