featured image

  recently i have this issue: when making a portfolio and then setting a featured image, all of the selected photos of the portfolio are doubled in the publication. They are shown in the portfolio block, well as a large, seperate image, all of them.
  
  This is not as it appears in the CMS, but it is shown as one visits the site.
  
  It does not matter if i choose an image from the portfolio page, an image that i add seperately to this page, or another image that is not in the portfolio: the problem of doubling all images happens anyway. Not setting a featured iomage means that the ‘recent posts’ on the homepage show only grey rectangles…
  Anyone knows what is going wrong? Thanks in advance
