Lost username

    My question pertains to the lost log-in details of an older wordpress website. The site is for a formal association of which I am the legal representative, but there’s no record of the log-in details or any other details that could help me in the password or username recovery.

    Is it possible to prove ownership, or at least legal authority, by providing government or chamber of commerce documents to support service to find out which e-mail was used to create the website? I can identify myself as a legal representative of the association of which the website is. We simply no longer have the records which say what the login username or email address is.

    The only thing we could find was an old password for one of our other websites that the administrator in that time might have used.
