Move domain to Bluehost

    In about a month I’m leaving on a bike tour of 7 months. Before I leave I want to make a website so I can post updates.

    About a week ago I registered my domain name at wordpress.com. This week I found out that I need a plugin to do what I want to do, for which I had to pay extra to allow that option. I learned about the difference between .com and .org and decided to move to .org using Bluehost.

    I made another account there and tried to transfer. Due to the 60 day lock this didn’t work. Today I tried deleting the domain and buying it again at Bluehost, but found out (after deleting it at wordpress.com) that it doesn’t work that way either.

    I’m slowly losing control of this and don’t really know what to do anymore. It feels like I want to do a very simple thing that just keeps getting harder and harder. I don’t have 60 days as I’ll leave way before that, and now it seems my domain name is completely lost. How do I prevent this and how can I get it to work on a .org platform preferably this week?
