Moving self-hosted WordPress.org website to WordPress.com hosting

  Dear community,

  Our company would like to move our self-hosted WordPress.org website to WordPress.com hosting.

  I am aware that speaking to the WordPress.com support team is only possible with a paid plan – which we will purchase – but only after it’s fully clear to us which steps need to be taken to prevent our website going down during migrating/switching from WordPress.org self-hosting to WordPress.com hosting.

  There is a lot of information to be found migrating from WordPress.com to WordPress.org – but not the other way around.

  Is there any way I can chat to one of the WordPress.com Happy Engineers before purchasing the paid plan? Especially since our first concerns and questions arise during the purchasing step.
