  🔧 Vraag over achtergrondafbeelding in Roblog thema

  Hallo allemaal,

  Ik heb vorige week het Roblog thema geïnstalleerd voor mijn website, maar ik loop tegen een probleem aan waar ik niet uitkom. Hopelijk kan iemand me helpen!

  Ik wil graag de achtergrondafbeelding aanpassen — van de standaard wolk-achtergrond naar een sterrenhemel. Ik heb een afbeelding geüpload via de WordPress-editor, maar:

  • De nieuwe achtergrond wordt heel even geladen (1 seconde zichtbaar),
  • Daarna springt de achtergrond terug naar de standaard wolken.
  • Extra CSS toevoegen via de Customizer helpt niet — ook dan keert de wolkenachtergrond terug.
  • Zelfs met hulp van AI-tools lukt het niet om dit blijvend aan te passen.

  Na wat speurwerk kwam ik deze code in het thema tegen als boosdoener:

  Het lijkt erop dat het Roblog-thema hardcoded deze afbeelding laadt, waardoor mijn eigen achtergrondafbeelding telkens wordt overschreven.

  📌 Probleem:
  Ik heb geen toegang tot het thema-bestand om deze URL te wijzigen, en kan het dus zelf niet aanpassen. ❓Mijn vraag:

  • Ligt dit aan het thema? Is het zo gebouwd dat je de achtergrondafbeelding niet makkelijk kunt vervangen?
  • Weet iemand een manier om dit toch te omzeilen of aan te passen?
  • Of is er iemand die contact heeft met de maker van het Roblog-thema of weet hoe we dit kunnen openen voor eigen aanpassingen?

  Question about background image in Roblog theme

  Hi everyone,

  Last week I started using the Roblog theme for my website, and I’m running into a problem that I just can’t solve. I’m hoping someone here can help!

  I’m trying to change the background image from the default clouds to a custom starry sky image I uploaded. But:

  • My image appears for just one second when the site loads,
  • Then it immediately switches back to the default cloud background.
  • Adding custom CSS doesn’t help — the clouds keep coming back.
  • I even tried using AI tools to help, but no luck so far.

  After inspecting the code, I found this line seems to be the culprit:

  It looks like the Roblog theme hardcodes this background image, which causes any custom background to be overwritten automatically.

  📌 Problem:
  I don’t have access to edit the theme files directly, so I can’t change the image URL myself. ❓My questions:

  • Is this a limitation of the Roblog theme? Is it built in a way that prevents background customization?
  • Is there any workaround to override or replace the default background?
  • Or does anyone know how to contact the Roblog theme developer to request a fix or a feature that allows custom backgrounds?
