Sharing on Linkedin doesn’t work

    Hello,

    We have an issue on our WordPress with Workscout with WP Job Manager website https://www.x-equo.nl and we really need it to be resolved today. We migrated our website from “http:www.welovefinance.nl” to the current domain a few days ago and suddenly our possibility to SHARE our posts and pages on LinkedIn aren’t working anymore. When we try to share a page and post we get the error message: “’ERROR: It’s not you it’s us, give it another try please.’.

    We aren’t able to figure out why this is happening. It has to do something with the type of URL OUR website is sending to LinkedIn, and LinkedIn is not accepting it.

    • In our “old” website the URL that DID work, started the LikedIn sharing URL with: https://www.linkedin.com/sharing/share-offsite/….

    • While our “new” website starts its sharing URL with:
    https://www.linkedin.com/cws/share/….

    • On our homepage we were able to fix the issue by using the plugin Really Simple SSL Social, that link also start with https://www.linkedin.com/sharing/share-offsite/….
    But unfortunately it only works on the homepage sharing button ans NOT on the other pages and posts of our website.

    Why are these two URL’s different? And why are the two URL’s different from each other?

    Apparently it is coming from INSIDE our website, because the SSL plugin was able to solve the issue on our homepage only….

    How can WE change the outgoing URL in our website so the page and post Sharing option will work?

    We really need it to be fixed TODAY…our website is already online and we rely on posts on LinkedIn from our website!
