Transfer domain name

    Our old website is built with one.com. We would like to transfer to a WordPress.com account. But before I pay for the subscription, I would first like to be sure that it is possible to transfer our domain name to WordPress. Can you tell me if that’s possible and how to do it? Our current website is: http://www.harmoniegingelom.be
    Also, what is the difference between transferring and mapping? What would you recommend for us? I don’t know how our domain name is managed, I wasn’t the one that bought it.
