Turn emoji back on

    A while ago all my emoji’s disapeared on the website. (Maybe because of an WP update?) All I can find is how you can disable emojis using a plugin and then I found this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/emoji/ where they’re telling me where to find the checkbox to turn emojis on or off. (Settings → Writing in your WP Admin dashboard) But there is no checkbox or even an description about emojis in settings → Writing or anywhere in the WP Dashboard. (Older wp version?) Could someone help me turning emojis in the (blog)messages back on?
