Uploading images not working, shows blue question mark

  For a couple of weeks I’ve been trying to upload new images, but I keep running into the same issue. The images don’t show up in my library (it only shows a grey square with a blue question mark in the middle).

  I still have enough storage space, and the image is 500kb, .jpg and .png. So there shouldn’t be any issues there.

  Can somebody help me solve this?
