What does ‘domain upgrade for your blog ankehans.com expired yesterday’ mean?

    Hi WordPress,
    I received an email saying
    ‘The domain upgrade on your blog ‘Anke’ has expired yesterday on April 12, 2018. Your blog is no longer available on the domain ‘ankehans.com’.

    The domain was added as part of the WordPress.com Personal plan on your blog. Renewing the plan will also renew the domain.’

    I don’t notice anything odd about my blog though, it’s working just fine.
    What does this email mean?
