Importing my blog

  I was trying to import my tumblr blog into WordPress, but after several hours, nothing happened at all. I then cleared the account information and disconnected from tumblr to try and start it over, but when I clicked again on ‘import site’, I received the message that I could only import one site at a time and that I had to wait for the current one to finish importing. I’m guessing some sort of error has prevented the previous importing from stopping, but the previous one isn’t showing up anymore, so now I don’t know what I should do. I would be thankful if I could receive assistance or at least be informed of what exactly went wrong.
