Parte branca que cobre o background como tirar?

Boas tardes

Criei um blogue de suporte jornalístico de outro jogo (aproveito e faço publicidade dele, chama-se Os Reinos da Renascença e está situado em: osreinos.com é um bom jogo RPG experimentem).

Existe uma parte branca que não consigo editar para retirar, o background e o logotipo do blogue foi feito por mim e a escolha deste tema deve-se ao tamanho que tinha e que considero o ideal, contudo a estética visual do blogue peca por defeito devido à parte branca que aparece a cobrir a maior parte do background.

Alguém mais experimente que eu tem noção como posso retirar a parte referida?

A imagem do background á assim, com partes brancas em torno.
Você deve cortar a imagem tirando essas partes antes de carrega-la para o background.

Perdão! Não entendi bem.
No tema TwentyTen não é possível mudar o fundo branco da zona dos contidos, a escolha do background é apenas para as bordas.
Se você quer o fundo da zona dos contidos doutra cor acho que tem que usar outro tema.
Um exemplo pode ser Koi. Há outros, mas eu não conheço todos os temas.

Pode ver como funciona em Koi pode vê-lo no meu blogue de provas (em língua galega).

Bem eu agradeço-lhe ludusnaturae contudo eu gosto mesmo das outras especificações do tema que uso, como a colocação da data do post ou e os widget’s não tem como só alterar a parte que referi anteriormente ou então mudando para esse tema alterar o que referi agora?
