is there auto redirect when changing tariff from free to paid?

hello! Who knows whether there is auto redirect if I change free tariff to paid? Will the answer to this question differ in case of change to tariff mysite.blog.com vs. tariff mysite.com?
My concern is whether existing links to my blog in social networks and forums will still work?
