After creating your website with the AI website builder, you can customize the content using AI prompts. This guide will show you how to use AI to finalize the images on an AI-generated site.
You can use the AI website builder for free to create a new site. Upgrade to a Premium or Business plan to launch the site publicly.
You can continue to update, edit, and add content to your website both with AI and by manually editing. To work on your site with AI:
- Visit your Sites page.
- Select your site and click the “My Home” button.
- The next step depends on the site’s plan:
- Free trial sites will arrive directly in the editor to resume editing.
- Upgraded sites will arrive in the site’s dashboard, where you can navigate to Appearance → Editor and click on the homepage preview on the right to resume editing.
- Enter your prompt in the sidebar:

Your AI-generated website will include images that you can update as needed.
To swap an image with one of your own, take the following steps:
- Click the image you want to replace.
- In the toolbar that appears when you click the image, click the “Replace” option.
- Choose from:
- Open Media Library: Select an image you’ve already uploaded to your site.
- Upload: Use an new image from your computer or device.
You can also drag your own images into the prompt box for upload.
Make your site unique by generating images with AI:
- Click on an image you want to replace, or select a new location to add an image to.
- In the AI prompt box, type a prompt such as:
“Create an AI image of a diverse team collaborating.”
“Generate a graphic of a mountain landscape for my hero section.” - Review the new image.
- Click the Save button to save the new image or the backwards arrow icon to undo the change.
Enhance your site visuals by adding photos from the free photo library:
- Click on an image you want to replace, or select a new location to add an image to.
- In the AI prompt box, type a prompt such as:
“Add a stock photo of a modern office scene to the homepage.”
“Replace this image with a city skyline stock photo.” - Review the new image.
- Click the Save button to save the new image or use the backwards arrow icon in the top navigation to undo a change.
You can add or update the site’s logo with the AI builder:
- Click the header section (or other area where you want to display a logo).
- In the AI prompt box, type a prompt such as:
“Add a logo to the header”
“Create a circular logo that features a leaf icon.” - Accept the AI’s suggestion or manually upload a new logo.
