After you set up your podcast, you may need to update your podcast information or adjust how your feed works. In this guide, you will learn how to manage your podcast feed and settings.
This feature is available on sites with the WordPress.com Personal, Premium, Business, and Commerce plans. For free sites, upgrade your plan to access this feature.
You may need to access your podcast feed URL to submit your podcast to additional platforms or verify your feed is working correctly.
Follow these steps to find your podcast feed URL:
- From your site’s dashboard, navigate to Settings → Media.
- Scroll to the Podcasting section.
- Your podcast feed URL displays below the “Category to set as feed” dropdown.
- Highlight the URL and copy it to your clipboard.

You can submit this URL to any podcast platform that accepts RSS feeds. We have provided instructions for Apple Podcasts, Pocket Casts, and Spotify.
You can update your podcast’s title, image, talent name, summary, and other settings at any time.
Follow these steps to update your podcast information:
- From your site’s dashboard, navigate to Settings → Media.
- Scroll to the Podcasting section.
- Update any of the following settings:
- Title: The podcast title that appears in podcast apps.
- Talent name: The host or creator name that appears in podcast apps.
- Summary: The description that appears when users browse for podcasts.
- Copyright: Copyright information viewable in podcast apps.
- Explicit content: Mark “yes” if the podcast contains adult language or themes.
- Podcast image: Click Choose Image to select a new cover art image, then click the Continue button to crop it to a square shape.
- Podcast Categories: Select categories that help listeners discover your podcast.
- Click the “Save Settings” button to save your changes.
Your podcast feed will update with the new information. Podcast platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify check your feed periodically for updates, so changes may take a few hours to a few days to appear in podcast apps.
By default, your podcast feed displays the latest 10 episodes. You can adjust this number to show more or fewer episodes to new subscribers.
Follow these steps to adjust the number of episodes in your feed:
- From your site’s dashboard, navigate to Settings → Reading.
- Adjust the number in the “Syndication feeds show the most recent” field.

- Click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the screen.
