Follow the steps to generate the appropriate license and add it to your site:
- Go to the Choose a License page on the Creative Commons website.
- Follow the prompts in the tool to create a license appropriate for your needs.
- Under the “Mark Your Work” section, choose the Website option.
- Copy the code in the HTML section.
- Edit the page, post, or template you wish to display your license. Most commonly, it is displayed in a website’s footer.
- Click the + block inserter and add a new Custom HTML block.
