Holiday snow schedule

The holiday snow setting is available during winter in both hemispheres according to the following schedule:

  • Northern hemisphere: you can access the setting between December 1 and January 6.
  • Southern hemisphere: you can access the setting between June 1 and July 6.

Your hemisphere is determined by the city set as your site’s timezone. If no city is selected, the holiday snow setting will be available from December 1 to January 6.

Turn on holiday snow

To enable the holiday snow effect on your site, follow these steps:

  1. Visit your site’s dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings → General.
  3. Check the box next to “Enable Holiday Snow.”
    • Optionally, you can also control the Snow Speed. The lower this number, the faster it takes for a snowflake to get to the bottom of the screen.
