In this guide, learn how to connect your WordPress.com site to LinkedIn so that your blog posts are automatically published to LinkedIn.

Connect to LinkedIn

To connect a LinkedIn profile or page to your site so that posts are automatically shared with your connections, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your LinkedIn account before proceeding with the connection.
  2. From your site’s dashboard, navigate to Jetpack → Social.
  3. Click the “Connect an account” button.
  4. In the Manage Jetpack Social connections screen, click the Connect button next to LinkedIn.

  1. In the new window that opens:
    • Sign in to your LinkedIn account.
    • Approve the connection to WordPress.com by clicking Allow.
  2. After returning to WordPress.com, another pop-up window will ask to confirm the connection. Click the Confirm button.

Now, when you share a post, it will be automatically shared to your LinkedIn profile.

Reconnect LinkedIn

Occasionally, the connection between LinkedIn and WordPress.com might get disconnected. Taking the following steps will solve most issues:

  1. From your site’s dashboard, navigate to Jetpack → Social.
  2. Click the down arrow next to your connected LinkedIn account.
  3. Click the Disconnect button and confirm that you want to disconnect your account.
  4. Clear your browser’s cookies to flush out cookies set by LinkedIn.
  5. Back in your WordPress.com account, navigate to Jetpack → Social and follow the steps to connect to LinkedIn again.
