You can connect your WordPress.com site to Tumblr so all new blog posts automatically get published to Tumblr. In this guide, learn how to connect your WordPress.com site to Tumblr.

Connect to Tumblr

To connect a Tumblr blog to your site so that posts are automatically shared to Tumblr, follow these steps:

  1. From your site’s dashboard, navigate to Jetpack → Social.
  2. Click the “Connect an account” button.
  3. In the Manage Jetpack Social connections screen, click the Connect button next to Tumblr.

  1. In the new window that opens:
    • Sign in to your Tumblr account.
    • Approve the connection to WordPress.com by selecting “Allow“.
  2. After returning to WordPress.com, another pop-up window will confirm the account you want to connect to. Click the Confirm button.

Now, when you share a post, it will be automatically shared to your Tumblr blog.

Tumblr will display an image if the image is embedded within the first 256 characters of the post.

You can also promote your content with Tumblr Native Posts.
