You can make bulk edits to several pages or posts at once. This guide will cover both how to edit in bulk and bulk delete content on your website.
You can use bulk editing to modify multiple pages or posts simultaneously. To modify several pages at once, take the following steps:
- Visit your site’s dashboard.
- On the left side, navigate to Pages or Posts.
- Tick the checkboxes on the left of each page that you want to modify in bulk.
- From the dropdown menu labeled “Bulk actions,” select “Edit.”
- Click the “Apply” button.
- You can then modify the following details for all selected items at once:
- Author
- Parent page (pages only)
- Template
- Comments
- Status (published, pending review, or draft)
- Categories (posts only)
- Tags (posts only)
- Pings (posts only)
- Sticky (posts only
- Click the “Update” button when you are done bulk editing your selections.

If you would like to delete multiple pages or posts at the same time, you can follow these steps:
- Visit your site’s dashboard.
- On the left side, navigate to Pages (or Posts, Portfolio, or Testimonials, depending on which content you wish to delete).
- Tick the checkboxes on the left of each item you want to remove.
- From the dropdown menu labeled “Bulk actions,” select “Move to Trash.”
- Click the “Apply” button to move all the selected items to the trash.

Any pages or posts will remain in the Trash for 30 days. After 30 days, they will be permanently deleted. While a page or post is in trash, it cannot be viewed by the public.
If you want to permanently delete or erase any items, you can follow these steps:
- Visit your site’s dashboard.
- On the left side, navigate to Pages (or Posts, Portfolio, or Testimonials).
- Click on the “Trash” tab at the top.
- Tick the checkboxes on the left of each item you want to remove.
- From the dropdown menu labeled “Bulk actions,” select “Delete Permanently.”
- Click the “Apply” button to permanently delete all the selected items.
- Alternatively, you can select the “Empty Trash” button to delete everything in the Trash tab in one click.
Keep in mind that once you choose to delete an item permanently, it cannot be restored.

You can also delete media from your Media Library in bulk. Unlike pages or posts, deleting media will completely remove it from your site.
Deleting a file from Media will also remove it from the post or page it is on. Deleted media files cannot be recovered. You may want to export a backup of the media library before deleting large amounts of files.
Unlike posts, pages, and comments, deleting a file from your media library is permanent and will not be moved to a trash folder.
