Add or remove content from groups

After you’ve created a group, you can ungroup the entire selection of blocks or add/remove individual blocks to the group. This guide will show you how to add or move content out of the Group block.

If you wish to remove a Group block without erasing the inner blocks within, you can ungroup the blocks instead. Follow these steps:

1. Select List View in the top-left corner of the editor. It’s the icon that looks like three horizontal lines above each other.
2. Locate the Group block in the list and click on it.
3. Click the three dots next to the Group block.
4. Select the “Ungroup” option. The blocks within the group will still display, but no longer within a Group block.

If you have an existing group that you want to move content into or out of, follow these steps:

1. Select List View in the top-left corner of the editor. It’s the icon that looks like three horizontal lines above each other.
2. Locate the Group block in the list and click the arrow next to it to expand the list of blocks within the group.
3. Click and drag the block in the List View into or out of the Group block.
4. Click “Save” or “Publish” to save your changes.
