- Visit your site’s dashboard.
- Navigate to Pages or Posts and click the page/post you want to add the content to.
- Click the + block inserter icon.
- Search for “Pullquote block”.
- Click the block’s icon to add the block to the post or page:

Using your keyboard, you can also type /pullquote on a new line and press enter to quickly add a new Pullquote block.

When you first add the Pullquote block into your post or page, it will show you spaces to add your quote and an optional citation:

To add your own text to the pullquote:
- Click your mouse where it says “Add quote” and type or paste your quote.
- Click “Add citation” and type the author’s name or the source of the quote.

When you select the Pullquote block, a toolbar appears above or below it. The toolbar includes options for width, alignment, bold, italics, links, and more:

When you select a block, you will find additional block settings in the right sidebar. If you do not see the sidebar, you may need to click the Settings icon in the top-right corner to bring up the settings. This icon looks like a square with two uneven columns:

The Pullquote block settings include options to change text and background color, a background image, size and appearance of the text, padding, margin, and a border. Adjust these settings in the block’s settings panel on the right side of the editor.
