Use the Sharing Buttons block to let readers share your content to social platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and others. In this guide, you’ll learn how to add and customize sharing buttons on your site.
Add the Sharing Buttons block by following these steps:
- Go to your site’s dashboard and edit the page, post, or template you want to add the block to.
- Click the + block inserter (plus icon) and search for “sharing”.
- Click the Sharing Buttons block icon to insert the block.

After adding the Sharing Buttons block, follow these steps to add your sharing buttons:
- Click the new Sharing Buttons block.
- Click the + block inserter (plus icon) that appears within the block.

- Choose an icon from the suggestions to add the sharing button, or click “Browse all” to see all available buttons:

- Repeat steps 1-3 to add as many sharing buttons as you want.
You can add buttons for the following supported services:
- Mastodon
- Threads
- Telegram
- Tumblr
- X/Twitter
- Nextdoor
- Bluesky
- Native share (to use a phone’s built-in sharing menu, or copy the link on desktop)
To change the order of your sharing buttons, follow these steps:
- Click on the sharing button you want to move.
- In the block toolbar that appears, use the left and right arrows to reorder the button.

To remove a sharing button from your block, follow these steps:
- Click on the sharing button you want to remove.
- In the block toolbar that appears, click the three dots and select “Delete” from the menu.

After adding your sharing buttons, you can customize the appearance and layout of the block.
To adjust the block alignment and button size, follow these steps:
- Select List View in the top-left corner of the editor.
- Locate and click the Sharing Buttons block.
- Use the block toolbar that appears to adjust:
- Block alignment (left, right, or center).
- Button justification (left, right, center, or equal space between buttons).
- Button size (small, normal, large, or huge).

The toolbar also includes options to change block type, drag the block, move the block up or down, and access more options.
To configure the button layout and appearance, follow these steps:
- Select List View in the top-left corner of the editor.
- Locate and click the Sharing Buttons block.
- In the block settings sidebar, adjust the following settings:
Layout
- Justification: Justify all buttons to the left, center, or right, or create equal space between each button.
- Orientation: Display buttons horizontally (next to each other) or vertically (one underneath the other).
- Allow to wrap to multiple lines: Multiple buttons will move to a new line if the browser window is too small to display each button on the same line.

Advanced settings
The Sharing Buttons block also includes Advanced Settings.
To apply colors and spacing to the block, follow these steps:
- Select List View in the top-left corner of the editor.
- Locate and click the Sharing Buttons block.
- In the right sidebar, open the Styles tab.
- Adjust the block styles as needed:
- Color: Text, background, and border colors.
- Dimensions: Padding, margins, and minimum height.
