Last reviewed on November 24, 2025

The Slideshow block offers several customization options to control how your images display and transition. In this guide, you will learn how to customize the slideshow settings.

Enable autoplay

Autoplay makes your slideshow advance automatically without requiring viewers to click. When autoplay is enabled, viewers will have a pause button on the slideshow. Follow these steps to enable autoplay:

  1. Click the Slideshow block you want to edit.
  2. In the block settings sidebar on the right, locate the Autoplay section.
  3. Toggle the Autoplay switch to enable automatic transitions.
  4. Use the slider to set the delay time (in seconds) between transitions.

  1. Click the Slideshow block you want to edit.
  2. In the block settings sidebar on the right, locate the Effects section.
  3. Select one of the available transition styles:
    • Slide: Images move horizontally from one to the next.
    • Fade: One image fades out as the next fades in.

Adjust image resolution

The image resolution is important for a site’s loading speed. However, in some cases you may need to increase the resolution of an image if the quality is more essential than the load time. Learn more about adjusting the image resolution in your slideshow.
