Display social media icons

Use the Social Icons block to display links to your social media profiles. Visitors can click on these icons to connect with you on various platforms. In this guide, you will learn how to add social icons and link them to your social profiles.

First, add the social media icons following these steps:

1. Go to your site’s dashboard.
2. Depending on where you want to add the social icons, navigate to a page, post, or template and edit or create a new:
   • Page: Navigate to the Pages section of your menu.
   • Post: Navigate to the Posts section of your menu.
   • Template: Navigate to Appearance → Editor and select the template.
3. Click the + block inserter (plus icon) and search for “Social Icons”.
4. Select the Social Icons block to add it to your page.
5. Click the + block inserter within the Social Icons block and add each logo you want to display. You can click “Browse all” or use the search box to find your desired icon.

The block includes icons for major platforms like Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest. See the full list of supported icons.

After adding the icons, the next step is to link them to your social media accounts:

1. Click on a social icon you added.
2. In the field that appears, type or paste the link to your social profile:

3. Click the “Apply” icon that looks like a curved arrow, or press return for Mac (or Enter for Windows) on your keyboard.
4. Optionally, in the Social Icons block settings sidebar, you can set the links to open in a new tab.
5. Click “Save“ or “Publish” in the top-right to apply your changes.

To add or remove social icons from a Social Icons block you’ve added, follow these steps:

1. Select the Social Icons block.
2. To add more social icons, click the + block inserter and add the profiles you want to display.

3. To remove social icons, click the social icon you would like to remove, and use the three dots (⋮) menu, and select the “Delete” option.

4. Click “Save“ or “Publish” in the top-right to apply your changes.

If the icon you want isn’t there, there’s a generic link button that can be used instead.
