Use keyboard shortcuts in the editor

You can use keyboard shortcuts while working in the WordPress editor to speed up your writing and editing without reaching for a mouse. This guide lists the available keyboard shortcuts.

View keyboard shortcuts in the editor

While working in the WordPress editor, you can view a list of available shortcuts by pressing the following keys on your keyboard:

  • Windows PC: Shift + Alt + H
  • Mac: ⌃⌥H (Control + Option + H)

You can also use your mouse to click the three dots in the upper right corner of the editor and select the “Keyboard shortcuts” option:
