Convert webpage to blog

  As I created the wordpress site, it asked me what type of page I’d like (saying it could be changed later).

  I have not found such an option.

  I’ve tried to delete every page except the blog page, but the home page will not go away, and I cannot set the blog to be landing page.

  Can I change this?

  If I cannot – when I delete the site, how soon can I make a new one with the exactly same adress?
