How do I use WordPress 5.0?

  Hi!

  I would like to add amongst other things a photo gallery to my blog, and have read that this can be done with block function in WordPress 5.0. How do I use this version? I am using an older version I think… Can’t seem to find how to activate the newer version using web broser?
